What you need: Your category (former pro athlete with years out of league / SMB founder or operator / creator or content brand / subject-matter expert), what you've actually been paid for prior speaking (real numbers — keynote / workshop / panel / virtual, separately), the count of paid gigs in the last rolling 12 months (free panels do NOT count — only paid OR pro-bono-with-video-rights), whether you have a published book or signature framework (and how recently), and one "audience asset" you can usually offer the buyer (recording rights, post-event social, named intros, etc.). About 5-7 minutes of honest answers.
