1. What we collect

We collect the data needed to run Miah for you and your contacts:

• Contact information — names, phone numbers, emails, and other details submitted through capture forms, voice calls, or your own outreach;
• Voice recordings— audio you or your contacts record through Miah's voice capture features, used to extract and structure information;
• Message content — texts, emails, and other messages sent or drafted through the Service;
• Usage data — how you interact with the Service, device and browser information, and similar diagnostic data.

2. How we use it

We use this data to provide the Service: capturing leads, drafting and sending outreach, powering the assistant's understanding of your business, and improving reliability and performance. We do not sell your personal data, or your contacts' personal data, to third parties — ever.

3. SMS / text messaging

When a contact submits a phone number through a Miah capture form, they opt in to receive text messages by checking a consent checkbox at submission. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Reply STOP to any text message to opt out at any time — we honor opt-outs immediately and do not re-contact opted-out numbers through the Service. Reply HELP for help.

4. Email consent

Contacts who submit their email through Miah do so with notice of how they'll be contacted. Anyone can opt out of email at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message or the preference link Miah provides. We honor opt-outs immediately.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain it for legal or accounting reasons. To request deletion of your data or a contact's data at any time, email support@miah.ai.

6. Third-party processors

We share data with a small number of vendors who help us operate the Service — cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, and SMS/email delivery providers that carry messages on your behalf. These vendors are contractually bound to use data only to provide their service to us, not for their own purposes.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit, access controls, and tenant isolation — to protect the data in your account. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data, and your contacts' data, as if it were our own.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, direct notice to you.
